From Insurance Advocate to Industry Insider
At 18, while many of my peers were preoccupied with the immediacy of youth, I was investing in something equally important yet often overlooked – insurance. Little did I know, this decision would set me on a whole new path.
My journey into the world of insurance wasn't ordinary. It began with a simple policy purchase but blossomed into a passion for protecting others. It was during a claims process at Together Advisory HQ that my Group Manager introduced me to the insurance profession.
Initially, I was drawn by the idea of extra income, but soon, I was all in for excellence. In just a few months, I saw the concrete results of my efforts when I proudly bought a new car, a clear sign of the opportunities available in the insurance sector. With each success, my belief in the industry's potential for personal and professional fulfillment only grew stronger.
Looking back today I am filled with gratitude for the opportunities it has afforded me. But more importantly, I am inspired by the prospect of what lies ahead. With unwavering dedication and a steadfast commitment to serving others, I am confident that the future holds even greater achievements.

I was 19 when I first joined this industry (life insurance). I had the opportunity to further my studies in Taiwan but ultimately decided to abandon that dream because I wanted to start my business in my home town.
I didn’t have much in the beginning. I tried everything from cold calling to standing in front of banks doing surveys. But then I cracked the code. Through policy analysis, I managed to built up trust between me and my clients, to the point where they would also recommend me to their friends and family.
And here I am, 7 years later still at Great Eastern, taking care of both new and old client alike. And in 2024, my journey is still continuing, where I plan to continue leveling up myself.

I’m Siamese comes from Alor Setar who was born in a big family which have 4 siblings. I came from normal family background which my father the only one who worked hard to make sure four of us can study well. Since my father get older I try to do some part time job while studying which includes waitress, baker, sales person anything that they offered to me even I have to stand for 8 hours per day.
I started to know insurance industry from my internship, and first think that i choose this place to complete my internship because it near to my home. During the internship, I just realise that insurance important to us which can help many families to bear the treatment cost during their admissions, provide income to the family when they lost the income and the most important as a insurance advisor their working day are flexible. Therefore i decided to join Together advisory to learn more and help many people create awareness the importance of insurance.
In 2020 i officially graduated , all Malasian have to stay at home due to covid-19 and some of them lost their job. I joined this industry as full time, as an advisor we can help people create awareness as normal because we can send the information through social media. However in year 2020 I managed to help more that 30 families although we was facing pandemic.
Now I manage to help more than 300 families create their protection at the same time I can spend more time with my family. I am a person who was new to this industry but with the guide of my leader and team I success today.

Having grown up in Jitra, I have long had a clear vision for my life and a deep understanding of the type of work environment I desire. I am a grounded and content individual who is fully aware of what I truly want in life.
Through my internship at DIPLOMA, I gradually realized that I was not suited for a job where I would spend long hours in front of a computer screen. I prefer a hands-on approach, where my efforts are translated into tangible results, and where I can directly see the impact of my work.
During my university years, I chose to major in finance, and I was fortunate enough to take a course on "Risk and Insurance," which gave me my first exposure to the insurance industry. Although my initial understanding of the field was limited, I gradually realized that insurance was not as unfamiliar and distant as I had once thought. Instead, it was an industry with enormous potential and significant importance.
As I delved deeper into the workings of the insurance industry, I discovered that not only could it offer attractive salaries, but it also provided a meaningful sense of career fulfillment, allowing me to create my own future through dedicated effort.

I come from a small place called Alor Setar. I started to know the insurance industry from my internship. During the internship, I realized the importance of financial planning and decided to join Together Advisory to help more people.
In just a few years, I’ve helped nearly 500 families with financial planning. Not only help families with financial planning, but I also help young people achieve financial freedom and their life goals.
